Control Plays Free Stage at Fair

CLEARFIELD – Friday might be ’80s rock night at the Clearfield County Fair, but the David H. Litz grove stage saw its fair share of the action Thursday with three shows from Clearfield-based band Control, playing hits from several decades.

Singer Dan Staples fronted tunes, as did Mark Neiswonger, also the band’s drummer. Chris Kane, an area band veteran, provides the band’s guitar. Paul Cavalier and Kevin Cielo round out the band on bass and keyboards, respectively.

The band brought songs from AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Metallica and others. Control brings together a combined 80 years of music experience.
